It claws my eyes out. Burning to a black tar liquid. Like lava devouring everything in my eye sockets. We are such an atrocious and disgusting species. It claws my eyes out. Burning to a black tar liquid. Spiraling out and spiraling out I'm spiraling out I'm spiraling out. I despise all existence. Hatred is the only emotion I know. When you dig deep enough you'll find the truth of what we truly amount to. We are less than the skeleton that supports this flesh. This is the way to catharsis. This is the way to become heartless. This is the way to transgress. This is the way to the darkness. This is the way. Relish in Relinquishment.

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann

What a BEAST of an album. When it comes to blending black metal and mathcore, these guys and Hoplites are the clear leaders of the pack. This album is sheer annihilation of everything in it's path. Pure chaos and destruction. And it is beautiful. Ryan

The dissonant bleakness of the first track is less weird and more hypnotic than on the second track. That's why I like it a little more. But both songs together make for an extraordinary experience and a journey to the arhythmically beating heart of darkness. mourner
